This morning was actually icy and overcast, something this area hasn’t seen much of this winter. I opened the curtains and noticed a friend’s car smiling at me from the driveway.
It took a few shots (and a reminder to actually step closer to the car to get my shot), but I finally succeeded in capturing its soul.
While I was editing, I experimented with cropping a little bit. Instead of just cropping to the entire car like I normally would, I focused in on the smile itself. I really like the result!
